Jowilna will be giving classes on a regular basis at our store! She is the author of a Cardmaking book and does really exceptional scrapbooking. Herewith the dates for her classes till the end of the year. Book early to avoid dissapointment!
Saturday 10th October – Double page layout R180.00 excluding materials used
Create a double page layout with lots of stamping. You will need a 5x7 inch portrait photo and 5-7 jumbo photos portrait and landscape that can be cropped. We will use stamps to create a beautiful pattern as well as texture. You will need your usual tools as well as chipboard letters for your title, flowers, brads, cardstock for your background and patterned papers that you can buy at the shop. Any theme will work, but my layout is about my childhood – I used coloured and black and white photos mixed.
Saturday 31st October – Mixed Media Canvas (R280 per person excluding materials used) & repeat on Monday 16th November
Mixed media canvas using stamping and clay. Create a beautiful work of art for your home, studio or office. You will need to bring a flat baking tray (small), not stick cutting sheet (the kind you use in the kitchen for cutting veggies), a rolling pin, Tim Holtz mini misters, stamps you want to use if you have, wax paper, a small cutting knife that is smooth (no teeth or ridges), metal ruler. You will also need to purchase from the shop Perfect Pearls with their small paint brush for adding colour to your clay. Deposit paid confirms your spot in the class. Here are examples - please confirm if you want to do the cross or the framed piece (frame not included).
